Antitrust Law Problems in Korean Pharmaceutical Field, Reviewed Through KFTC¡¯s Regulation Against a kind of ¡¯Fixing Medicine Price¡¯

Abstract
In Korea, ¡¯fixing medicine price¡¯ can be done for the pricing system. It can be regulated by Korean Antitrust law. And actually, there was a regulation by KFTC in 2009. It was the first regulation against ¡¯fixing medicine price¡¯. It can be regulated by monopolizing, cartel or unfairness. The effect of KFT£Ã¡¯s regulation is strong. Therefore, in the policy of healthcare, especially pharmaceutical side, Antitrust law can be a good tool. Good competition in the field of pharmaceutics will be a benefit to consumers, the patients.
